9:00-9:45 AM – Cardio Dance in the Park

11:00 AM – Parade of Wheels: Help kick-start the festival by decorating your bike, scooter, stroller, wagon, or wheelchair and making your way around the perimeter of the park. Meet by the basketball court. Limited decorations available at 11:00 am!

12 PM - Storytime with Bo from Wild Rumpus Books in the Park.

12:00-3:00 PM - Tennis Games with InnerCity Tennis: InnerCity Tennis will be on-site, leading fun, engaging tennis games for kids of all ages, with all equipment provided. Adults can also enjoy structured open play on half of the tennis courts. Come learn more about InnerCity Tennis programming and their work in the community.

1:00-2:00 PM – SWHS Basketball Shooting Challenge on the basketball court.

1:00-3:00 PM – Robotics Demonstration from SWHS FTC robotics team 'Code Blooded'.

2:00-2:30 PM – Field Day Games: Join us for classic, all-ages field games like potato sack and three-legged races, water balloon toss, and a hula hoop contest! Meet on the field.

2:00 PM – History Walking Tour (meet at LHiNC info booth)

"Exploring the Knob and Kettle Landscape of Oliver Park"

The portion of Linden Hills west of Xerxes Avenue including Linden Hills Park was platted as the Oliver Park Addition in 1885.

The low-lying land south of Lake Calhoun/Bde Maka Ska was known as "Fern Valley" and homes were initially built on the hills west from Zenith Ave. Our walking tour will follow the progression of home dates and styles as the neighborhood filled in and recently has experienced significant upgrading and replacement. 

3:30-4:30 PM– Kickball Tournament: We’re hoping to have three games going (tailored to K-5, middle grades, and adults).

4:30 PM – Silent Auction Closes!

4:30-6:00 PM – BINGO at the Main Stage.

Mint Orthodontics Kid Zone: Help Mint Orthodontics celebrate their 9th birthday, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM! All activities are free, courtesy of Mint Orthodontics. A signed waiver is required for the inflatables.

• Inflatables for children and teens (all day)

• 12:00-6:00 PM: Big Bubble Making Fun

• 12:00-3:00 PM: Balloon Twisters

• 3:00-6:00 PM: Face Painting

Silent Auction: Bid on items from your favorite stores and organizations. You can peruse in person inside the Recreation Center. Proceeds support the Linden Hills Neighborhood Council. Auction goes live a week prior and will close day-of at 4:30 PM.

Used Book Sale: Purchase retired library books at this sale. Proceeds support the Friends of the Linden Hills Library. Sale ends at 4:00 PM.

Scavenger Hunt: Kids can pick up a festival scavenger hunt sheet at the LHiNC info booth.

Civics and Sponsor Booths: Learn more about local civic organizations and sponsoring businesses. We'll also have a special guest, Bob Bayers from Bayers Hardware, who will be tabling and sharing some history as we celebrate 51 years of festivals.
