ACTIVITIES
9:00 AM – Free Yoga in the Park with YogaFit. BYO yoga mat or towel, meet in the field.
12:15 PM – Parade of Wheels: Help kick-start the festival by decorating your bike, scooter, stroller, wagon, or wheelchair and making your way around the perimeter of the park. Meet by the basketball court. Limited decorations available at noon!
1:00-2:00 PM – Chalk Art Competition: Join in this friendly competition near the swings along 43rd. Sponsored by Kinderberry Hill.
1:00-2:00 PM – SWHS Basketball Shooting Challenge on the basketball court.
1:00-3:00 PM – Robotics Demonstration from SWHS FTC robotics team 'Code Blooded'.
1:00-4:00 PM – Balloon Twister + Face Painting in the Mint Orthodontics Kid Zone.
1:30-2:00 PM – Storytime with Linden Hills Library. Meet between the playgrounds.
2:00-3:30 PM – Field Day Games: Join us for classic, all-ages field games like potato sack and three-legged races, water balloon toss, and a hula hoop contest! Meet on the field. Sponsored by CMT Janitorial Services.
2:00 PM – History Walking Tour: Meet at the Linden Hills History Study Group’s table in the civics section. Peter Sussman will lead a walking tour delving into “Waveland Park and the Grimes Family in Linden Hills.” View the surviving clues of Waveland, Jonathan Grimes' 1880s model community to the west of Beard Avenue, including its unique street layout with names such as Motor Place and learn of Andrew Moot's truck garden predecessor to Sunnyside Gardens.
3:00-3:30 PM – Clog Dancing Performance from Wild Rose Cloggers near the basketball courts.
3:30-4:30 PM – Kickball Games: We’re hoping to have three games going (tailored to K-5, middle grades, and adults).
3:00-5:00 PM – Big Bubble Making Fun in the Mint Orthodontics Kid Zone.
4:00-5:30 PM – Learn Bocce with the Linden Hills Bocce Club.
4:30 PM – Silent Auction Closes, so BID NOW!
4:45-6:00 PM – BINGO at the mainstage. Sponsored by Joy+.

Mint Orthodontics Kid Zone: Help Mint Orthodontics celebrate their 8th birthday, from 12:00 to 5:00 PM! All activities are free, courtesy of Mint Orthodontics. A signed waiver is required for the inflatables.

Silent Auction: Bid on items from your favorite stores and organizations. You can peruse in person inside the Rec Center. Proceeds support the Linden Hills Neighborhood Council. Auction closes at 4:30 PM. BID NOW!
Used Book Sale: Purchase retired library books at this sale. Proceeds support the Friends of the Linden Hills Library. Sale ends at 4:00 PM.
Crafts with Heartfelt: Rotating crafts throughout the day!
Scavenger Hunt: Kids can pick up a festival scavenger hunt sheet at the LHiNC info booth. Sponsored by ShelfGenie of the Twin Cities.
Civics and Sponsor Booths: Learn more about local civic organizations and sponsoring businesses. We'll also have a special guest, Bob Bayers from Bayers Hardware, who will be tabling and sharing some history as we celebrate 50 years of festivals.
